# Prompts

> The questions Mentiofy asks, grouped into topics, and how to turn them on or off.

Prompts are the questions Mentiofy asks. Topics group them.

The page has **Active** and **Archived** tabs, and a search field. Each active prompt shows visibility, sentiment, position, and which tracked brands were mentioned. Those three scores compare the latest completed run with the previous run, for your brand. Share of voice is on the [dashboard](https://docs.mentiofy.com/workspace/dashboard.md), not on this row.

Open a prompt to read the question, those scores, and recent answers.

## Changing the list

Editors and the owner can add a topic, add a prompt, and archive a prompt. Archiving turns it off so later scans skip it.

The saved question is not edited. To change the wording, archive the prompt and add a new one. Mentiofy does not rewrite existing prompts when you change the project language. Write new prompts in the language shown in the header. See [Market and language](https://docs.mentiofy.com/workspace/market.md).

Viewers can read the list and cannot change it.

## Limits

| Limit | Amount |
| - | - |
| Topics on one project | 30 |
| Prompts stored on one project | 300 |
| Active prompts during first setup | 25 |
| Active prompts after setup | Your plan: 50, 150, or 300 |

The plan limit counts active prompts on the projects that account owns. See [Billing](https://docs.mentiofy.com/workspace/billing.md).
