# Members

> Owner, editor, and viewer access on a project.

People on a project have one of three roles.

| Role | What they can do |
| - | - |
| Owner | Everything an editor can do, plus invites and role changes. There is one owner, and billing for this project stays on their account. |
| Editor | Can manage prompts, topics, and brands, and retry today's failed scan when no scan for today is already running or finished. |
| Viewer | Can view the dashboard, citations, prompts, and brands. |

The owner invites someone as an editor or a viewer. A pending invite holds a seat until it is accepted or revoked. A project can have 10 seats, including the owner, current members, and pending invites.

An invited person uses the owner's plan while they work in this project. Their own [Billing](https://docs.mentiofy.com/workspace/billing.md) page applies to projects they own.

When the owner's subscription is past due, canceled, unpaid, or expired, editor changes stop as well. The project stays readable.
